Why are characters in video games so successful?
No, not because of our firm hand guiding them in the right direction. And not because of fearlessness, which invariably follows from the ability to survive before the battle.
They have a damn HUD!
The most important problem of life, our most important enemy, is constant obscurity.
How much health do I have left?
What is my goal today?
What is my level?
What class am I?
We spend our whole lives trying to answer these questions. And for the character of the game, all this is indicated on the icons at the top of the screen.
If I could at least once look at my menu with the characteristics, then in my life crystal clear clarity would come. At least once to see a detailed and beautiful list, what strength I have, what skills I have, how much experience I have left to a new level - after that I would to move mountains!
And so the world is full of magicians who are trying to rock melee, and self-confident characters who believe that they have a high enough level for this location.
To open the veil of secrecy over our menu with features, we go to incredible efforts. We spend a huge amount of playing time just to get to know ourselves.
And you know what? This is still better than investing in the development of a character that you are not.
Spending all points on mana, simply because parents said so in childhood. Hey, wake up! You are a warrior! You have always been him!
If you ever tried to look deep into yourself, you would see a menu in which this is clearly stated.

This post was mad deep, I totally feel you on this one. We don't have the measure bars and run on feelings and preprogrammed information which might not be the ideal operating system to run our inner machine. This disconnect is why we often break down and can't understand why
