SundayScentExperience - The Lilacs
One of I_don't_know_how_many lilacs my mum has. Bit this is one of the oldest. I remember it blooming every May since I was a kid in last century ;)
Nikon D5500 + Nikkon 18-55 (f/5.6, 1/1600, 52mm, ISO100)
Those are so dark, deep purple flowers with the usual strong lilac scent. They look even better among the white lilacs that grow on both sides. Love them both!

Ewa this is a memory we share! My mums garden has this deep, deep purple lilacs too. Very, very old tree - half off it just git thorn away by wind last year. But oh! The heavenly scent! I will allways connect this scent to my mum, as she wore never perfumes or the like.
She is still alive and healthy though and this spring i ll go and pick me sime lilacs and think of you, dear Ewa 😀

Yeaaa those lilacs are something. And having them always there blooming year after year is like part of a family almost.
Our ones are still there. The white ones got so huge they almost suffocate the dark one. But still doing good :)

I love lilacs and can't wait for them to bloom. There are lilacs in front of my flat and there is a very good scent when they bloom.

I don't have any here, but we have another tree blooming outside in spring that smells like lilacs :D
