One of the simplest and most perfect things in nature. All the parts of a cone are right where they are supposed to be with the shape they supposed to have.
All closed to protect the seeds open up only after they mature and the weather is right.

And then squirrels show up and eat the seeds :)
Yep... everything is there for a reason...
