Green Hairstreak butterfly

There was a few firsts on our yesterday's walk near the beach. A first time white flower that bloomed on the dunes that I showed yesterday, and this green butterfly that I saw further away from the beach in a spot among the trees were we usually park the car (and I take millions of flower photos).

Never saw such green one before! Of course I had to google it as soon as I got back home and everything the say is true.

Green hairstreak butterflies don't like to show off the inside of their winds. It is supposed to be brown, but I didn't see it. They can be seen mostly in March (duhh) all over Europe and in Mediterraneans countries they prefer the coastline areas. And that's exactly where I found it.

I was chasing him for quite a while until he took off and flew away out of my reach. Back to flowers :)
