Meet Pinjarra of SeaLife Melbourne Aquarium

This is Pinjarra, one of the largest crocodiles on display in Australia. His permanent home now is The Crocodile Lair in SeaLife Melbourne Aquarium. He has been on display at SeaLife since 2013. Though I am not fond of reptiles, I still couldn't help but feel in wondrous awe of this humongous creature.
Pinjarra is a 55-year-old male saltwater crocodile and measures over 5 metres and weighs about 750 kilograms. He was originally caught by John Lever on a 300-acre cattle station in Ingham, Queensland over 30 years ago. According to Mr. Lever,
"He was landlocked after coming inland during a flood, and he ate one of the farmer's cows."
John Lever gave the crocodile the name Pinjarra which is the Aboriginal word for "place of soft grass and smooth water." Since its capture, Pinjarra had become part of the Koorana Crocodile Farm, which is owned by the couple John and Lillian Lever. However, due to breeding reasons (Pinjarra's "favourite" girls apparently had stopped laying eggs and unfortunately, his size was just getting bigger and he was really outgrowing his "ladies"), Pinjarra was sold to SeaLife Melbourne Aquarium, where a large enclosure was built specially for this 750kg crocodile.
Below is the short clip I recorded of Pinjarra using my phone camera. I am truly amazed! It's like I'm seeing a dinosaur in real life. Just amazing!!!

Hi @ntowl! What a lovely surprise! How are you? I hope you're well, too. I don't know much about crocodiles, but upon reading the facts on Pinjarra, that's what I learnt. Haha! (I find it funny, too, that crocodiles get too big for their ladies... How big is too big anyway? Haha!!!)
