Aka the countryside, aka homehome.

Getting away from everything toxic, like work, people and the city air.

It's been too long since I've last been at home, and it was Father's Day yesterday so I borrowed a car and drove here to hang with my parents. And yes, I did stop my car in the middle of the road to take that first picture, drive safe kids!

I love that it's getting a little wintery in here already, I can't wait for snowmobile season!

It's so good to be in the country, living a simple life, connecting with the nature (threw up in my mouth a little just now), spending time with the family, reading a good book and sleeping really well.

I just washed off all the dirt from traveling in the sauna, ahh. No pictures this time, but you could check this post from five months ago to get the idea.

Ps. Any requests or suggestions on what I should shoot while in here?

Sort:

❅ The countryside looks very peaceful with a dusting of snow.

You had done a self-portrait series through the forest in spring/summer time, it would be interesting to see something similar in the wintery wonderland if it's not too cold to tolerate. 😊

Haha, I've had that in mind for a while already, but we'll have to wait for more snow :D

More awesome pics - and the (I threw up in my mouth a little) comment just took me over the edge... Ha! ;-)

Suggestion: Shoot pictures in the theme "Childhood".

You have a wonderful eye for landscape composition as well as portraits.

There's something soothing about that first inch of snow on the ground, even if I'm not ready for more.

Thank you so much :)

I see these pictures and I find myself feeling that the most prominent things in them, the things I want to see more of, are the structures.

The dashboard and road in the first picture frame the 'snowy wonderland', so to speak. In the other pictures there are roads, buildings in the distance, and this sort of thing.

So why not expand on that, and see if you can't find places where man has interjected in one way or another in the natural landscape.

These are really nice and moody. Do you Instagram?

I do, but they are the same pictures as in here :D

wow. little piece of heaven you got there!

If you are into hunting, you could shoot an elk.
Ha-ha.

I don't really know how to shoot, only tried a couple of times, but I have been elk hunting with dad since I was a toddler :P

Just point the camera at the elk and press the button ;)

But you surprised me though.

it looks beautiful and a bit scary at the same time...

nice photography I must say !

Real life When we have time to return to our senses and the only place that provides us this pleasure is nature because it gives simplicity and isolation with the soul
