BITCOIN - OVER $5000 USD AND HOLDING - IS STEEM NEXT?

This has been one wild and crazy week for Bitcoin, again breaking the 5k barrier, and rewarding those wise enough to hold the venerable coin. This digital cryptocurrency continues to prove the naysayers wrong, like a reformed hooker with a twinkle in her eye. If Bitcoin was your first love, will you remain faithful and true? Or cheat on her with the sultry Siren of Steem?

Let that roll around your quivering brainstem for a moment. At last check, this Golden Goddess is now flirting with and about to give a big, fat, juicy, wet, sloppy kiss to 6k! If loving Bitcoin is wrong, I don't wanna be right! You've heard that old saying: "A rising tide lifts all boats" well, let’s hope that wave of wealth propels our beloved Steem, to even greater heights.

    The surge is due to the upcoming fork to BTC Gold. The community learned at the last fork that you end up with a mirror coin. I.e If you were holding one BTC then you were holding one BTC and one BTC Cash post fork. Same goes for this one. I'm running a contest to win Bitcoin to celebrate the recent surge if you want to have a go at winning some give it a gander. Cool write up and will up vote and follow. Steem on. :)
