I had it listed for technology...not politics.

I follow a dozen or so websites daily just for that purpose. They're honest about it.
I followed NextBigFuture for their reporting on technology.. but they dishonestly inject their politics into their reporting on technology.
I'm not interested in their politics...it stinks.
sure makes them seem much less credible
I kinda like the idea of having someone on our side keep an eye out for threats from space.
In the last little while earth has been hit by several significantly large asteroids. Lucky for us they didn't do much damage.
I'd like to avoid that. It's time and past time to have a SpaceForce to do the job.

creating a new bureaucracy will probably create a lot of new contracts and opportunities for advancement, hopefully though they consolidate operations and remove redundant programs that the branches may have but usually the opposite does happen.
