Life and Humanity Curation Team - Tag Details and Support Criteria
As you know, we have been selected as one of the curation team for the month of February. I along with my teammates - @anroja, @disconnect, @ngoenyi, @olesia, @saracampero and @svm038 will be looking for the best publications in the category Life and Humanity which includes Diary Games, Act of Kindness and other Charity related content. We will be voting those posts through one of the steemcurator account with over 500k SP.
In this post, I would like to brief about how my team is going to find the best publications and vote for them. What factors we will consider before choosing a post and how can you increase your chances of being selected.
1- Life and Humanity Theme Details
We will be looking for Life and Humanity related posts which includes the diary game, act of kindness and charity related posts.
A diary should have record of events or experiences of a particular day. Note that Life style posts like recipes and gardening tips or creative DIYS don't count as a diary. Food diary, Promo diary, Art diary or Tech diary don't come under this theme.
Charity projects and posts that revolve around act of kindness theme will also come under this category.
2- Hashtags
We don't want to create a special tag for your convenience and to avoid any confusion. So the tags that are already being used will continue.

If your post is related to above theme make sure to use the relevant tag in first four tags so that we can find your post. If you don't use the right tag or don't write in the first four tags then we are surely going to miss your post.
3- Avoid Plagiarism, Steem Exclusive Posts and Use of Copyright Free Images
We will be checking each and every post for plagiarism. For that we will be using online plagiarism checking tools.
Authors who have been labeled as Verified and the posts that have comments from the community mods verifying information like plagiarism free, bot-free, club status etc will be preferred. Having said that we will still make sure to double check the post for plagiarism.
Posts that are not #steemexclusive will not be entertained. Please note that using this tag is not enough. You have to make sure that you haven't published the same post on any other platform. If you do, it also comes under self- plagiarism.
While using images from Internet, please make sure that the images are copyright free or are allowed for commercial use. You should look for images that come under the license of Creative Commons. Make sure to mention the source of the image as well. A source link should be the original link of the image ( not Google Images) where it's terms of use or license details are clearly mentioned.

4- Club Eligibility
We will be only curating posts of the authors who are members of club5050, club75 or club100. Please make sure you are a member of any of these clubs and use the right club tag. Wrong club tag will not make you eligible for it. We will still be validating your status.
5- Our Working Strategy
We are a diverse team with the knowledge of different languages and we are part of different communities. Our support system will not be centered. We will curate regardless of our country, language and community. All that we will look for, are the above mentioned criteria. Make sure you follow that and most importantly focus on the post quality.
We believe this theme is most widely used on Steemit. As a rough estimate there are more than 300 posts in one day. It is impossible to curate all. We want to give significant votes yet want to reach the maximum authors. In order to achieve this, we will strictly follow the criteria and also make sure that no author is curated more than twice a week.
For this, we will be keeping record of all the curation activity and share all the details in our weekly reports for transparency.
Our weekly report will also include seven best posts of the week. Each of the team member will nominate one post that will be complying by all the rules and is of best quality.
Lastly, we are a team so we will do teamwork and take turns to work. We have created a working schedule for us that will ensure that we cover all time zones and no posts go unnoticed.
Note: It is important to know that following all the rules will only qualify you for votes but will not guarantee them. Those who will demand votes, will not get any votes.
