Plagiarism means stealing another person’s ideas such as write up,images,phrase without giving credits to the original owner of the content.

Plagiarism can have serious consequences like academic penalties and damage to one’s reputation so is very necessary to give credit to where credit is due and to always cite sources when using someone else work .

* paraphrasing plagiarism— means presenting someone work in your own words or pattern.

• mosaic plagiarism—this is also known as patchwork plagiarism,it occurs when am original documental source are being borrowed without any citation.

• self plagiarism—this is a situation where by a writer keeps submitting a particular work he or she has done some time ago in different communities.

• accidental plagiarism __
  It may or may not be intentional,it may be due to negligence, mistake or unintentional misrepresentation. Basically it forgets to insert quotation marks and cite the author or source.

• complete plagiarism _ Complete plagiarism is when a person steals all the work of someone word to word without changing anything and without any reference

What is citation
Citation is the act of copying someone's words and including the source of the information.
Sometimes it can be necessary for us to quote someone's words and we have to know how to cite properly.

• Another way is by mentioning the sources of the original content from where you're borrowing the content. By using or showing the link where the content or image are under it .
