BeachWednesday: San Nicolò, Sardinia
San Nicolò, or San Nicolau, is, in the opinion of our family, one of the top beaches in Sardegna. What makes it so special, apart from four kilometers long sandy beach, is a creek that runs through the beach. Kids are able to play in this creek for the whole day. Amazing.
The beach is located just north of the town of Buggeru which is also a nice spot to drink your coffee or a glass of Ichnusa. Or go exploring the remnants of the mine which was carved into the cliff.
There is a bar on the beach and an excellent pizzeria right above it. I recommend their kitchen.
The area is also rich of walking paths so you can enjoy your time here in many ways.
We will be there this July again. For the fourth time. We love Sarda and I am looking forward to it very much.
