I'm erin. I think the capital letter e is ugly and I try to always write erin with a lowercase e. No, I'm not 12. One would think I'd have given up this mindset before my mid-thirties, but here I am -- with a graduate degree in English and still refusing to capitalize my name.

Steemit warms my heart, because people are reading and writing. I teach high school English. I don't expect everyone to be a voracious reader or love writing, but I do love that people are using the internet for more than memes and YouTube. 

I'm a voracious knitter. Not in that I constantly knit, but that if my hands are free and I can get away with it I'm doing it.
