My Actifit Report Card: september 7 2018
I used Actifit for a couple of days during my holiday. Because of battery drain and because not a lot of people in my network used it, I decided to stop using the app. Since I now see a lot of people starting to use it (again) I decided to give Actifit a second chance. Let's see how it goes this time.
Today I did nothing special. Just the usual commuting by bike and cycling to and from running training. Since I don't take my phone with me during running, the score is not very impressive. Tomorrow should be better when I go cycling again.
I expect you to win the leader board at least once!

I think more people use it because it's getting more known and they just launched the IOS version.
Can you be more specific about the battery drain?
I already use 3 apps that use GPS and other sensors to track movement. Besides that I have an "old" phone (over 3 years). That all makes that my battery is draining pretty quickly. An extra tracking app makes this worse.
I didn't do an analysis on how much the Actifit app is contributing to the energy use.
That's indeed a brilliant idea. I can check it myself. My iPhone says 4% per 24 hours. I would say that's quite acceptable. And probably also the reason why it does miss quite some activity.
Actifit somehow is not in my list of apps that use energy at all. Probably that is because the app counts based on sensors of the phone/Android.
But 4% would be acceptable indeed (when it works fine).
