Im a painter, and yes you figured it out, im poor. But I do it because I love what I do and I believe that only a few people have that advantage or that blessing of being able to do that. My mom teached me to draw when I was a kid, she always kept colors and leaves near me. And despite not being the best at it, I always keep doing it. Id like to draw cartoons like Digimon, Yu Gi Oh! Or Some Videogame. The important thing was having anything to draw, I kept doing it for a few more years and then I limited myself to draw the exhibition foils for any school task and some draws in Paint.

It was until my 18 birthday that with one of my first girlfriends I touch the canvas for the very first time. I wanted to give her an original gift for our month celebration, and what better gift that a paint made by me right? ( or at least that was my thoug). Then, by the time I went to an art exposure, and after watch a couple of paints I told myself “Fuck that, I can make better paints than those” and after I know it I was painting already. I started painting just for me, then for others and again for me. The other day I count how many pictures I had painted and I have pass the 300 already. My favorites artist are: Van Gogh, Picasso, Cezanne, Kirchner and Matisse.

I own alot to my mother, she teached me alot of culture, history and geography. When I was 4 years old I confuse the Dr Jose Gregorio Hernandez ( one of the many saints in my country) with Charlie Chaplin.

When I was little I enjoy play football a lot, I practice it since I was 5 untill my 16 birthday . Untill not long ago I retook it, now I play in a league of “players that stop play already” hahaha. In my begins I was a defense and when I was like 8 I became a goalkeeper, but just because I like to throw myself to the ground and the individual game was my thing you know. In the current time Im like a midfielder, but the most of the

time I don’t know what the fuck im doing, but that’s okay for an retire “soon to be” legend of local football.

One of my biggest passions besides painting is Music! Music has been traveling this rollercoaster with me since I was a little kid. When I was younger my father introduces me the rock and I never let it go, I simply love it, the only thing I love more than painting is painting with music J. My first favorite band was The Police ( I still listen to them ). My top ten of Music is : Gorillaz, The Police, Gustavo Cerati, Daft Punk, The Beatles, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Gilberto Gil, AC/DC, Los Amigos Invisibles, The Clash.

At 16, when i dropped Football, i feel the necesity to do something else, because I like the videogames a lot too as I said in the beginning, and well, I sold my Gamecube and bought a semi-pro camera. A FujiFilm Finepix S1500, and I started to take pictures of almost everything that caught my attention, I even start to work on it, but it wasn’t my thing you know. And then at the time of leaving the photograph to one side, the painting came, more out of necessity than out of curiosity.

Another one of my hobbies or “things that I like to do” are Movies, I really like to watch them, it entertainds me a lot, especially those of culture. I wanted to study that, but things didn’t end well after taking that road, I even make a couple of short films but all stop there. At the moment I didn’t count with any budget, (That hasn’t change haha).

And Well, Little by Little im going to be posting pictures of my draws and pictures, also some of the photos that I have taken and one or other thing that we can have in common.
