ULog#28: Grilled Some Stuff For The Weekend
With the conclusion of the Memorial Day weekend in the USA, we are at the end of May. I have mentioned before how time seemed to speed by this year. Another year will go by before we know it. Make the most of it. There are more important things in life.
The weather forecast predicted that it would rain for days since last Thursday. For the most part, it did, but the weekend consisted of occasional drizzle instead of downpour. In some places around the state, hailstones were coming down.
As you can see, it was not all bad. I have always enjoyed the sight of rainbows at the end of storms. The temperature, of course, was still not too hot. I can't say the same for the upcoming month.
You know it was Memorial Day when you see people transporting goods in their pickup trucks. That guy was not the only one I saw with their grill/smoker in the back.
In Life
I had fun with friends and family. Our friends invited us to their place and we had some smoked ribs. My buddy is from Kansas City Area, so he knew what he was doing. I should have taken photos of all the delicious food, but I was too hungry to care.
With Memorial Day passed, the next one I would need to prepare for is Independence Day. As I grow older, it feels as if there is not enough time to prepare for special occasions. Then again, it could be that I am an amateur when it comes to planning.
Oh, the personal social media wipe is still in progress. I will update on it as time goes on.
In Steem
In other news, I have decided to become a dolphin on Steem. A little late, perhaps, but I am one of 2000+ accounts with that amount of vests. I felt I got in before the prices started rising due to a BTC pump. Will Steem survive for another three years? Who knows?
I can also claim free accounts now. I have plans for some parody accounts in the near future. Whether I will post much from them is another story. The one thing I will do is play around with them for some time before I become bored.
