Wikitry, is a new travel wiki for travelers where you can find popular places on cities. It has additional info for each place like
- Tickets
- Parking Options
- Accessibility
- Needed Amenities
- Average duration of visit
- Location
- Opening-Closing Hours
- Required Preparations
I am heavy traveler and having something like that in my pocket is amazing. It's a public system where everyone can edit anything in the page. (Suggestions for edits are not atomic, they will be published after reviews.)
I like the simple design. Since it's in early stage yet, it only works for US cities. They plan to expand into all world at some point.

It sounds a little bit like the lonely planet books, which I used in the 1990s to travel Africa in a 2.0 version.
