Just followed a couple of curation trails
I will be following some curation trails from now on. First three were:
- @sndbox (awesome project, I was late.)
- @peri (Turkish curation project)
- @jumbot (another Turkish curation project.)
I have used steemautoby @mahdiyari and it looks neat.
However, I really don't like setting posting authorities to 3rd party apps. I even shipped curobot to remove steemvoter dependency of mine. Now, I need to add "follow votes of x account" support to curobot.
With new features like following curation trails, it will be a good alternative to automatize steem interactions.
I am also aware of that running the bot is hard for end-users. Any suggestions to run the bot with something like "one-click-deploy" service?
Btw, feel free to suggest good curation trails rewarding minnows. I can reserve some VP to follow them.
Hmm.. I am looking for something to curate.. But the idea of auto vote trailing feels still wrong to me..

It feels wrong.
Because you would give your upvote to things you didn't curate by yourself.
Well, the level of feeling wrong also depends on the weight you are autovoting

Explicit auto-voting helps me support the authors I like. I cannot be here in 7/24 and generally, authors have a standard in their posts.
Following curation trails is a new thing with me which I can support multiple authors with small percentages. Don't really hurts the VP but keep authors happy.
Not a minnow trail persay but you could follow @steemplayroom to support the steemgar game.

You probably not expecting a suggestion from an end-user, but "one-click-deploy" means $5 per month afaik. 5 bucks may doesn't look like something but when it's stacked it can hurt some of our's pockets :) But it's obviously helpful for who covers that money with curation and such.

Indeed after seeing your bad experiences w/ 3rd parties. For now even those 3rd parties waste my %100VP it doesn't cost me $5 I guess. So it's just another rich people problem :)
