Steemit Engagement Challenge WOX, S10W5: Collage of my Life
Hello everybody
with this post I enter the collage contest.
My life, living inside a smartphone for work, with a big furry friend that takes me out of the house, with a romantic attitude and art as an hobby.
STEPS
Looking for material I was impressed by this dog photo, very similar to my dog, a Spaniel Springer. The photo is big so I decided to use it as the main figure. This dog is a very good companion as many dogs can be.
On the commercial flyers I was looking for a Pc or a Smartphone cause I basically live inside them. Also I found a photo of a girl, that could be me in a summer day (ok I am not a girl anymore 😂)
Then I took a page from an old calendar with the cupids.
I started to cut out the figures and put them togheter, also I had the idea to separate the flowers from the angels, and make a cloud with them.
Then I outlined the shape of the figures with the pencil to keep trace of the position.
For the background I choose simple pieces of paper from an old book.
I glued the figures and this is the result.

Hi Emma, thank you for taking part in our creative challenge. Yes, you are right the dog is really taken the main part of your collage and for many dogs became as a part of the family. It is funny that you could find the same type of a dog. My first impression when I looked at the collage was it is an Italy and summer . Italy without Art is not possible to imagine :)
Yes the dog is so similar! Maybe the cupids are revealing of Italy at first glance, I didn't realize it! But I have to say we are among the more smartphone addicted in Europe, maybe in the world 🙄

With a few elements, you have been able to make a pleasant composition using the cuts of a book as an element of the unit. I like how you joined the cupid with the dog and the vintage atmosphere of the entire collage.
