Hi everyone, its your man @Emmakwisequote again.
I have this burden to share with the newbies and the minnows in the house when I woke from bed this morning. A lot of newbies and minnows are still struggling with life on steemit. I'm sure most of you are wondering why some people's post have such a good turnout and yours is still struggling with some cents. If you are in this category, this post is for you. Or you have been thinking whether you can in one day be a whale, then you have to read this post as well. The third category of people I'm writing this post to are those who have determined to make it on steemit. Whether you belong to the first,second or third category,please sit back and read.

Success is not a magic on steemit,it is a reward for hard work. You can't buy it either,you can only earn it. And you can't earn it if you are the lazy type.
If you are interested in just posting anything, dont be surprised when you start earning anything. I want to talk to us on five key areas we have to keep focusing and develop if we want the true success on steemit. So off we go!

           Start with friendship

Steemit is not just a platform, it is a very unique platform that want you not just to make friends but also to retain them. No matter who you are or where you are from, if you don't make friends here,forget about success.
Steemit community is not a community where you are only concern about yourself. You have to show you care
for others too.
Don't be like those that beg people for upvote,no body want to be used,everyone want to be involved. But they will do the upvote for you if you allow them to be part of you.
I have met some friends here that I wouldn't have meet in my life if not for steemit, I visit their blogs everyday just to stay connected with them. Their are people doing that for me as well because I'm part of them too.
Stop running from pillar to post,start making friends.
Stop the please upvote me of a thing,it is disgusting,focus on friendship.
I can say with all boldness that all my friends on steemit are the best,make yours proud too. Smile.

  Don't just post for posting sake.

Dont be like those that just come online and post anything, let your post be a quality one. Invest so much in your original works. Some people votes are so precious to be waisted on just any post especially now that everybody is faced with the issue of bandwidth. They want to reserve their voting power for the best write up.
It is not a must you post every hour,if you must post at all,make it meaningful.
Take your time to do some research about what you are posting. Ensure that what you are posting is your best for the day.
The number reason why people are following you is due to what they can learn from you everyday,try and satisfy your followers with quality posts.
My friend @swissclive said something in one of her post that "the followers have followers too". If you take time to satisfy
your followe,you can as well win those that follow them too,and that keep increasing your post to be more visible to the people.
Before you post your very next post,ask questions such as: of what benefit is this post to the people?
Is this the best I can do? And things like that....

          Be a good reader

A lot of people still believe you just come online to post and make some money! Smile.... Steemit is not one sided! You can make money as a writer and also as a reader. In fact the money I have made on steemit as a reader can not be compared to the one I have made as a writer. If all you do is just to post and go,you can't go far on steemit. You are not doing yourself any favour for not reading those posts from other people. Their are so many people that write on so many topics that you have to read and learn something about. Answer to your struggling might be the post you are still negleting.
Let me give you a glimpse of what I have been learning from reading some of my friends post.
@alexandravart she is such a unique artist and a writer that love other artists and writers to grow. Her posts have increased my love for art works. Try and visit her blog to see those beautiful pictures yourself. I'm sure,you will love them.

@everlove this is a woman with good heart for the masses. Her only goal is to see people growing in love,she want to give her heart to the whole wide world. The way she appreciate things is very unique. Her #thankyouforbeing and #theactsofkindness are still trending

@swissclive she is a rewarder of good and quality posts,you can't buy her vote,you have to earn it. She do everything to see everybody grow. I learnt about cryptocuency from reading her post. I will still talk about you dear

@stellabelle His passion to see steemit community to keep growing is second to non. He do
everything to promote, support and encourage those that are on the same mission with him. Thank you for your time on this mission.
@olawalium ,sorry,you have to be the only Nigerian i will mention,your passion to grow this community is very high. Trust me,i am on this mission with you.

If I should keep talking about what I have learnt from reading friends posts,their won't be enough time to do that. To all my other friends,thank you for making my day with your beautiful posts at all time,i can't read your post without finding something to learn,I so much love you all.

   Always leave a comment behind.

Writers want to get feedback on what they post, they can only get this from your comments. Dont just vote for them,tell them what you feel about their posts. Encourage them,advice them,add to what they write,appreciate them and promote them. A lot of people have problem with this,as we have lazy writers,the same is with those that comments. Some people are just too lazy to read,all they do is just to comment with "nice post" so that you think they read.. @swissclive is one of those that reward good comment, but I have never seen her rewarding things like "nice post' and I'm sure,she won't encourage that.
I said the money I have realised reading and commenting on people post is more than what my post have generated. Yes,because I give so much attention to comment. I will never comment if I have not read and understand your post. Imbibe this into your culture too,and you will see the difference it can make.

         Invest in steem power

If you want to grow on steemit,grow your steem power. Before you think about cashing out once,think on investing twice.
