I Admit....I Am Not a Prepper - Resolution Needed?
While I am all about preparedness....and doing things that can help improve your life "if times get tough, and even if they don't".
But I wasn't prepared.
The whole family has shared and reshared colds and sickness over the last 3-4 weeks. I was sick around the start of it, but was 85% better in two days. I give credit to the tea.
"Gypsy Cold Care" "Echinacea" and even two varieties of mint that we harvested and dried this year. When everyone else is starting to cough, etc....I start drinking the tea. 2-4 cups a day!
Well a week ago my wife started to get sick...and I just plowed along...drinking my tea and coffee...thinking I was 'the bees knees'. That even though I was out in 5°F temperature shoveling snow for 4 hours a day...I wasn't getting sick.
Then the tea ran out.....
I just assumed we had another box in the cupboard. But we didn't. Yes we still had some lavender and mint that we had dried. But our stock of Traditional Medicinals was all dried up. And......
...I got sick too!!
Right before this big service trip we had been planning!! To build some community gardens down south (while we get a break from the bitter Northern cold).
Well, we didn't leave today as planned. Hopefully we will get underway tomorrow. But we will see.
I know, I know.... Lesson learned. We gotta stay prepared!!
Love you all, and hope your New Years are starting out better than mine! 8?P
Peace
Hope you get better soon!

Hehehe this learning curve of prepping steeped up all of a sudden.
Sucks though bro, hopefully you guys are all back op and running @em3
Happy New Year!
Its the Cold season. Just tea and 7 day rest. You should be fine
The one herb I make sure not be be low on is "Boneset", it kicks colds and flu in 3 days.
Is that the same as Comfrey? Knitbone? We had that....I just left this morning... I didnt bring that!!
Eupatorium perfoliatum is not comfrey. Max 3 days is all it has taken and that was knocking out the flu.
I love the speed it works.
