On Wednesday at exactly 8.43 PM a little known Gerald Mwangi Ngima from a small Ngano Village in Kenya took to his Facebook wall and made the world know he was ready to die. He even invited all who know him for his burial should his body be ever found. He stayed online for over 5 hours, maybe reading the responses from his “friends”.
His very close friends called him names some even volunteering to foot his burial expenses. Some even offered to show him the easiest way to die without informing people. Mind you, all those are his Facebook friends. Only a few offered to help with guidance and counselling. Surprisingly, all those who offered to help didn’t now him in person.
The depressed photographer and actor was reportedly found hanging dead having committed suicide. Less than 24 hrs after he posted of his intention to squeeze life out of himself. With over 3500 friends and followers on his wall he still committed suicide. They are now camping on his post typing RIP.
If today I post that I want to commit suicide, I know, people who don’t even know if I am of green or blue color,would look for me in every corner of the world. Even in my neighborhood shanty or whatever forest I’d have gone to commit suicide. They would even walk from as far as 100km if need be. And those are the kind of friends you need. Not those who come to your wall for entertainment and they don’t care if I breath or I don’t.

Although he has no reason whatsoever to have taken his own life but its just pathetic and sends alot of message. It simply means he never really had true friends. If he had, at the first sight of his post all of them would have converged to his house to render any help whatsoever he might need and help him through his situation. Hmm. So sad. it is in times of our down moment we know our friends from our fans
He had his reasons, I can't judge that . However I agree it's sad that he couldnt get the help he needed. Such a Pity.
It's good that people still care but it's sad that he commited that. We have to love our life, life is so expencive and we have to care about it whatever happens.
By the way the quality of your camera is so nice, can you tell me the mark of this camera ?
Haha. Funniest thing I've read today, I use my Phone and do some editing sometimes.No Camera yet, but soon I'll get one. And yes, it's very sad that this happened, I'm still perplexed.
