The little things in life
So, its a gift shopping day and once Christmas is over, the season of all other events like weddings, baptisms and other festivals begins.
The gift buying ceremony, to be honest, is one of the boring thing to do, especially when its for people you barely know and have no clue what they need. And I feel gifting something for the sake of traditions is even worse.
We have a good amount of tiny statues of newborn Jesus in marble, plastic and every other material which used to be a trending gift during Christmas. Problem is where do we discard these?! That's what makes me feel against buying gifts as a formality.
Anyway, we're in the shop and were taking the elevator to the second floor. There was this lady, seemingly in her early thirties, and her child entered with us.
Unusually, there was no one attending the elevator and she seemed a little more nervous before the doors were closed. Finally asked us if it goes to the third floor.
We pressed the button for her and she was still nervous. She goes " I'm pretty scared to use this, it does go to the third floor, right?" We assured her and got down at the second floor and explained it'll be the same way when it reaches the next floor.
That was when I realized how different we all are aware of things that are present around us, especially when it comes to technology. I couldn't believe someone of her age is not able to be use it alone.
Then I realized the things that I have no clue about in many fields of technology and the blank look on people's face when I ask them to join Steemit or TravelFeed.
It's equally amazing an frustrating how not all of us are wired equally.
Well, the gift shopping progressed with a lot of confusion with the many options. But the shop had a good policy and they put it in a very straight forward way 😂

I was pretty careful walking the aisles with glass and other heavy fragile gift items on both sides. And hats off to those who make it out of there with kids and no financial loss.
PS: this post is going to undergo all the trials of using Esteem app and the est balance I have. Please ignore any inconveniences caused 😺
