Keep hoping and you will succeed

Some say that hope is the last thing to be lost, but I believe that if one day we lose hope, we will also lose the hope of living. The complexity of this globalized world drags us into many challenges, which forces us to put our trust in the Creator every day. Problems are always at the gates of life and a little carelessness can plunge us into the depths of chaos. We cannot lead life without the burning hope of attaining what God has promised to the righteous. God is a God of perpetual faithfulness, who will give to each one what he has faithfully hoped for in Him. The days pass quickly and our longing for what we hope for continues until God overflows His grace and love, and gives us our long awaited reward. God never forgets what He promises, even if it takes Him a long time to fulfill it, it is simply up to us to know how to wait.

As good Christians, we must remember that in the Bible, in the book of Genesis, there is a man named Abraham, to whom God promised to give a son and with that son to form a very great nation. The truth is that when Abraham received the promise of a son, he was 75 years old and had to wait 25 years for God to fulfill the promise. You can imagine Abraham's life and attitude during 25 years waiting for God's promise and knowing that his wife Sarah was barren. Really, it is not easy for a human being to receive a promise of a son, knowing the barrenness of his wife. The important thing is that the promise did not come from a man but from God. Hope leads us to firmly trust that God will fulfill what he has promised. The greatness of God's power is so extraordinary that all the glory of creation testifies to His power, so why not trust in Him and know how to hope no matter how much time passes?
Hope in God helps us to gain strength and life to fill us with courage in all that time of waiting. The 25 years passed and God finally fulfilled His servant Abraham's promise. In all that time, Abraham applied one key to his waiting period, which was faith. The steadfastness of Abraham's faith was so strong that nothing dragged him down to doubt, but he became the father of faith and an example for all believers in the different ages and centuries.
Is it worth waiting for? Certainly, it is worth waiting and trusting that we will get from God what He has promised us.

In my life as a university student, things were against me, both economically and because of the distance from my home to the university campus. However, my dream of becoming a professor led me to know how to wait on God for what I asked so much of him. The economic storms were so strong that feeding myself at the university was a world of sacrifice. So the 5 years of my university career passed and my ability to wait led me to the path of reward and I received from God what I had asked for. Today I can enjoy what God has given me, even in spite of the economic chaos we have had to live through because of the pandemic. We should never give up on our dream, what we have to do is develop a lot of patience and know how to wait confidently on God and we will enjoy the reward that comes from waiting.
Extend your dream forward and run successfully in the midst of trials, trusting fully that God rewards those who strive and wait on Him.
