I LOVE Being Vegan!
Funny, because the very next day after my last blog update concerning the vegan diet and my health continuing to be so poor despite my efforts...
Things started to look up.
Without going into too much detail, I'll share that after two straight weeks of wrecked digestion, I finally had a more "normal" experience going to the restroom. I am still in pain every day. I am hopeful that this will subside eventually, but I'm also happy to see that the inflammation is still going down!
Detox is a bitch, but totally worth it.
Not gonna lie, I ate cheese like two days ago.
But the important thing is that it didn't set me back in my progress toward health and feeling well.

very good!!:O

Cheese is gross
Well done!
Congratulations.
Why do you think eating vegan has made your health so poor?
Looking fwd to next update, keep us posted on what you are actually eating, and any strenuous exercise you're completing.
Oh dear, no! No, I'm sorry, I must not have been clear. You misunderstand. I've been feeling very ill for years. For all my life, actually. Losing gluten and becoming vegan are what have made me feel better, but it's been a VERY slow process. I have some previous posts that begin on day one of my new vegan diet.
Wowzers! You look amazing!
And check out Wallace!!!
at least you're being honest with yourself with the cheese haha. Looking great - hopefully you feel better after the detox phase. Are you having trouble with digestion? And are you taking any supplements?
Yeah I've had poor digestion, but for SO LONG NOW that I know it can't all be due to detox. I've had issues for my whole life, and the detox phase kind of made everything worse to the point where I was so overwhelmed. So yes, I am continuing to have digestive troubles, but in this (third? fourth?) week of the vegan diet, things are finally moving along at a "regular" pace. lol
I am taking probiotics, vitamin D, fish oil (I know it's not vegan, but if I don't take it Omar will nag me about nonstop until I do so fuck it whatever), and a multivitamin. I get my B12 from nutritional yeast, which isn't a supplement, but might still count.
Yesss awesome! Seems you are doing all the right things!!!! Well done. Diatomaceous Earth is really good to clean the bad stuff out from your gut too, and leaves the good guys alone. Following you for inspiration ;)
Oh! Thanks! I have heard of that stuff. Gonna look into it now.
