Welcome spring, welcome hay fever

Spring has come. Flowers bloom, birds sing, the beautiful scents of nature overflow the atmosphere, everything around is reborn, the day becomes bigger and the need to go out and have fun is out of control.

As in this life cannot all be perfect, there is also a dark side of this lovely and colourful period. Allergies and hay fever.

Suddenly you become the only discordance of this beautiful background. You are an itchy monster with red eyes, runny stuffy nose, with bumps on your skin, sneezing more often than you even breathe. Just beautiful.

A step out of your house may transform you to a nasty creature, that no one wants to see. When everyone is out having fun, you are locked in your safe prison watching the fluorescent pollen “flying” all over the place and you cry inside.

Enough is enough. You will dare to go out and have fun as well. You swallow your antihistamines and you feel ready to seize the day and enjoy the rolling grass. But there is one tiny detail you took in no consideration. The side effect, sleepiness. Your -not red anymore- eyes are closing and you cannot keep your head up. Going to sleep is the only thing you can do. You don’t care about the fun, the grass or anything anymore. The only thing you want, is your bed.

So while nature is awaking, you become the sleeping "beauty".
