Graphic drawing Swamp spirit

I like digital painting and graphics (pen, pen, marker). But now I am at the stage of development and mastering of these directions. However, this is a ladder to the sky, there is no end point, I understand it, and interest guides me.

The interplay of colors here is what originally caught my attention, but the more I look at it, the more I think my favorite part is the swamp-spirit's serene expression. I also really like how you chose to have their toes dip into the water, rather than avoid it.
