Calendula

In the autumn there is a lot of orange color. And even calendula flowers are still blooming.

But calendula is not only an ornamental plant. First of all, it is used as a medicine that helps with many diseases. The main substance of the flowers is calendars. Besides it, the flowers contain several organic acids (primarily malic and pentadecyl, partially salicylic), resins, carotene. The tart aroma of the plant is caused by the presence of the essential oil. Carotene, found in the nails, affects the color of the plant, in orange flowers it is twice as large as in white.
