My Peerplays Rock Paper Scissors Logo Contest Entry
With this logo, I wanted to capture the game of rock paper scissors in a nutshell. It was challenging to boil down the concept of "rock" into something simple as an icon without it reading as a ubiquitous blob, but then I recalled that people often refer to cut diamonds as rocks (as well as many other gemstones) and the rest of the design fell into place.
The rules of the game itself are demonstrated in the composition with scissors ranking over paper, and paper over rock. Rock might be at the bottom, but the scissors are contained within and are totally owned by it.
The composition works in black and white, as a single color print, and lends itself well to seasonal variations in gradient and other design techniques. The design also works on both light and dark backgrounds. It reads well as an iOS or Android Icon. Pacatum Inc would have all of their design needs covered if they went with this logo.

Love it. Solid Design @ehzi-dehve . Classic and Timeless. It could also be instantly turned into the symbol for an App which could be sold, or might already be sold/given away for free. Game Developers should keep your name in their helmet. You hide your powers, for now.

Great design! Elegantly simple and self-evident and agreed it would make a great mobile app icon. We think alike as there are many similarities to my submission (Which I submitted after yours but promise I came across yours afterward.), and your "About" - Art • Design • Jiujitsu • Music • Archery - is kickass as I'm into each of those as well! You definitely know where your towel's at AKA your a cool dude.
