The Diary Game: Cooking And Visiting My Farm (02-10-2025)

Everyday is a blessing like I always say and today was nothing short of that. I was supposed to go to work today very early but my colleague called in and asked if she should cover in for me so that I will do so for her tomorrow. Her reason was because she was going to the village tomorrow to see her sick mother and possibly take some insulins with her so that she will give her diabetic mom and I totally understood her and asked her to go ahead.

Since I was not going to work, I just told my hubby that I will be going to the market to buy some foodstuffs for us in the house. He sent some money to my account and then I went on my way to the market.

Today, things are always costly in the market because the sellers do not go to their wholesalers to get items during the week, they rather go on weekends and sell at cheaper rates on Saturday, Sundays and Mondays. So I bought few things I needed and then came back home. These are the things I bought in the market for okra soup.

After preparing everything all by myself. I took the buckets in the house and went to the nearby borehole to fetch water. I used the last volume of water at home to cook and also clean the house. When I finished fetching water, I took our stabilizer to the electrician that do fix it and then I went back home and told him my hubby will be coming to fix it up.

When I left the technician's outlet, I went to the nearby store to buy something for my son so that when he comes back he will see snack to eat and as well eat the okra soup I cooked. The weather was kind of cloudy as the sky began to darken so I increased my speed.

When I came back home, I waited for one more hour for my son's school to dismiss so that I can go and pick him up. When I got to this school, I picked him and then came back home, gave him his lunch and also joined him to eat again. When he finished eating, I bathed him and he slept off.

I also did join him to sleep because I was tired of the chores I did from morning till that time. When I woke up, I went to the poultry farm to see how things were going. When I reached the farm, I met my manager and he told me he had selected the layers that were not laying much and proper again. I knew they were old so I told him to take one of the chicken then sell the rest and deposit the money into the company's account.

When I left the farm, I came back home and when I arrived, I saw my son and other little boys playing football in front of my house, they were just dribbling my son and he was running around. The only two guys that were able to hold up the ball and go head to head with each other. When my son fell down, I called him to come inside and bath before he sounds himself again.

When he came inside, I took my bath and bathed my son before I gave him the vitamin C. When he finished taking medication, I dished food and gave him then I knew he was tired so I asked him to go to bed and sleep. I waited for hubby to come back home so that we can eat together and when he came back, we ate and I came right on time to share how my day was.
