Greetings to my wonderful friends in @steembetterlife, how are you doing, this trust you are all doing well.
You're welcome to my post, I'm Edidiong Effiong from Nigeria and I'm happy to participate in these amazing contest title Children Traditional Games as a Form of Stimulation of Development which was organized by one of our hardworking member in person of @irawandedy.
Today I'm going to be discussing about children Traditional Games with you guys.
ABOUT TRADITIONAL GAMES
Traditional children games is very important to children in so many ways.
It stimulate their growth, it helps in widening and broadening their way of thinking.
When i was a child i played a lot of traditional games like hide and seek, double dutch, truth or dare, hopscotch etc.
But now in these 21st century those games are slowly fading away because technology has taken over the lives of our children.
HIDE AND SEEK
Hide and seek
Hide and seek is a commonly traditional played games by the children.
You can know what the game will be like by the name.
These game can be played with many people, one person will stand closing his/her eyes then count from one to ten while the rest of the children will go look for where to hide.
After the child has finish counting from one to ten he/she will go looking for where the other children are hiding.
TRUTH OR DARE
These is a popular game that can be played with both children and adults, it can be played by two or more people.
Truth or dare is a verbal game, which the players are given a choice between performing a dare or answering a question truthfully.
HOW TRADITIONAL GAMES STIMULATE A CHILD DEVELOPMENT
It helps a child in widening their social skills
It helps them to learn more about their culture
It stimulate a childs growth both physically and mentally
It helps a child by improving their problem solving skill
It gives them opportunity to learn new things
It boost their creativity

The world as we all know has advance in so many ways, and a lot of things has improved, a lot of technologies are being release.
Because of technologies, children no longer engage themselves in Traditional games anymore, they focus on playing games on the mobile phone, pads, computers and laptops.
By doing so it limit their social skills and they don't develop physically and mentally.
CONCLUSION
Traditional games is really good for children and it helps in building their social skills and the rest, unlike these technology age where all the children are busy playing games with pads, laptop etc, which has a lot of side effects on them like eye disease.

Hide and seek is my favorite. Yeah, you are right, in our childhood, we used to be in line with nature and enjoy it. And also socializing with friends ane getting used to it. It's so sad to see that technology has taken away that beautiful experience form today's kids.
