Cat Pencil Commissioned Drawing-Part 5-Final Result! By EdgarsArt

Finally it is done! I have finished my Cat commissioned drawing on which i have been working on for almost a week now. I have made 5 posts including this last one about this. In this one i can finally show the finished piece.
I can say that i am very pleased with the result. Everything in the end looks as i planned it to be. All the hours invested in this paid off very well. This one just might be one of my greatest cat drawing ever done! In this one i really experimented with using 2B,3B and 4B pencils all together in one drawing- I personally think it helped me a lot to get the drawing to look more realistic. I noticed that i can achieve bigger natural contrast with them all, and they mix together nicely.
Today i finished the body-I spent around 5 hours today on that.



After i was almost done with drawing the body-I smudged the background. I am doing this using charcoal powder.



This is how the drawing looks in the end. I think i have never spent so many hours drawing any animals body. The details in the fur are extremely small and accurate. I used 4B and later to draw the more accurate details i used 2B pencil. Now what i have to do is to send this final result to the person who wanted this and tomorrow i have to ship this already. I made it till the deadline, and the result is also great i think, so i can say that this one is done perfectly. I hope you all also will love its end result.
And thanks to everybody who followed all parts posted on this, and liked the evolution of this drawing. Next i will continue my white charcoal drawing-I have made part one already about that days ago.
