Deal with Anger!

I will be talking about anger a bit because it's one of the major reasons people especially Christians don't walk in the fullness of God's blessings. They have allowed themselves to be ruled by the flesh so much that they have ignored the Holy Spirit without even knowing. Anger is one of the fruits of the flesh and it's one proof you are being carnally minded.

I once heard a story of a lady who was very angry with another Christian sister, and as they exchanged words, she said to the sister "Any more word from you, I will drop this Bible and smack your face!" Meanwhile, she wasn't holding a physical Bible, but what she meant was that she would keep aside whatever caution the Bible gives and hit her.

This story and some of the words gotten from it taught me somethings. One of which is the fact that the word of God wasn't yet in her heart, it was still in the Bible. When the word is you, you can't drop it because it's already in your heart, It's YOUR LIFE. Every Christian should live the life that's Spirit-controlled, the life that's filled with God. That's what Christianity is all about. You should never allow anger, malice and wrath be found in you or anything that concerns you. Refuse to be controlled by your feelings or emotions, be Spirit-ruled.
Of course, there are times you might get so angry that you feel like breaking and scattering everything and everywhere maybe because of the magnitude of what was done, but you must learn to hold yourself in.

Ephesians 4:26 says "Be ye angry, and SIN NOT..."

In other words, manage your anger. If you walk in the Spirit, no matter how the temptation comes, you won't give in to it because you are Spirit-controlled. You can walk in the Spirit always by walking in the light of God's word, study the word and avoid ignorance.
