The Individualism Mirage

in #informationwar5 years ago (edited)

Let's not mince our words here. If you have had any blood work done, you are in the DNA database... if you have a biometric ID, you are in the database. This technology is exponential and when combined with 5G, escaping the grid will look as completely vain and futile. It already is to some extend, though there are still a few possibilities to circumvent it as we speak. But how long can a full off the grid lifestyle last considering the current environment?

Yes, let's think about it.

For decades we heard that going off the grid was essential to survival and Truth Seekers leaving the hectic city life behind were lauded as modern heroes. Even that is coming to an end now. The evidence that "independence" is not the solution. It never was. Think of all the magazines and suppliers that made lots of money preaching in the name of "self-sufficiency" for a few seconds. To sell just another illusion. Yes, we may sound pretty harsh and even cynical, but in the face of what is coming, it is about time to get real: the theory of individualism is misguiding by design!

For any technology advance to have any positive effect, a society must remain powered by our "birthrights" and the protection of Nature as priorities, otherwise the failure to respect such criteria turns Knowledge into a weapon of mass destruction. That's precisely AI will be lethal as its implementation demands that we renounce to our birthrights in favor of a "silent assimilation". We have written many blogs about it. Lethal for our species. Our species is the guardian of Life on here. On Earth. That is our mission.

The invasion of DNA mapping and facial recognition are mainly developed to address the exploding criminal activities in our society. While a few at the top promote this invasion to boost the emergence of AI. A free society would never implement the latter therefore. Hence the AI agenda.

We can only address the core issue by realizing the prime cause of so many crimes: economics.

Money is the drive behind 95% of the crimes. Let's admit it. We are transforming the world into a cyber prison because the system frames each of us into our own "bubble of survival" and meanwhile crimes follow their own exponential trends.

We must urgently make a U-turn and begin to care about the entirety of Life and other people's birthrights around the world. That is the only way we are going to change the destiny of mankind. But in order to do so, and since crimes are motivated by economics, we ought to think of the unthinkable: a money-less world.

HIGHLIGHTS The Unholy Alliance Between DNA Sites and Facial Recognition

  1. Two means of collecting personal data – DNA databases and facial recognition software – are forming an unholy alliance, and the privacy implications could be devastating.
  2. Privacy concerns surrounding DNA and facial recognition aren’t anything new. As the popularity of DNA genealogy websites like Ancestry DNA and 23andMe increase, so do questions over who has access to that data and how it will be used. The use of facial recognition and other biometric data technology is on the rise, and people are expressing concerns (and outrage) about that technology as well.
  3. Now, DNA and facial recognition have merged, a development that is sure to ignite new concerns over privacy and how our most personal data is collected and used.
  4. A team of engineers just built an algorithm that scans through a database of images and selects the faces that could be linked to the DNA found at a crime scene..... But, it is getting easier for them to use samples to filter the right face from a database,
  5. Our physical appearance (including our facial details) is hardwired into our genetic material. Scientists have already identified multiple genes that determine the shape of our face – from the distance between our nostrils to the shape of our chin.

  7. If your face isn’t in a database yet, it likely will be soon. For this technology to be useful, large face databases will be needed, such as ID card or driver’s license databases. By 2021, 97% of travelers will have their faces scanned.

DNA Site That Helps Cold-Case Sleuths Curbs Access for Cops June 10, 2019
GEDmatch, which has more than 1 million genetic profiles in its database, is now asking users whether they want to allow police to access their DNA information. Previously, law enforcement could search profiles in the database unless a customer explicitly opted out.... Another genealogy website, FamilyTreeDNA, allows police to seek matches from crime-scene DNA samples it submits when investigating a homicide, sexual assault or kidnapping. That site is about the same size as GEDmatch’s, so police may shift investigative efforts there. Parabon has solved more crimes with genetic genealogy than any other entity, but FamilyTreeDNA hasn’t allowed Parabon to use its database.

Facial recognition from DNA using face-to-DNA classifiers (JUNE 2019)
Facial recognition from DNA refers to the identification or verification of unidentified biological material against facial images with known identity. One approach to establish the identity of unidentified biological material is to predict the face from DNA, and subsequently to match against facial images. However, DNA phenotyping of the human face remains challenging. Here, another proof of concept to biometric authentication is established by using multiple face-to-DNA classifiers, each classifying given faces by a DNA-encoded aspect (sex, genomic background, individual genetic loci), or by a DNA-inferred aspect (BMI, age). Face-to-DNA classifiers on distinct DNA aspects are fused into one matching score for any given face against DNA. In a globally diverse, and subsequently in a homogeneous cohort, we demonstrate preliminary, but substantial true (83%, 80%) over false (17%, 20%) matching in verification mode. Consequences of future efforts include forensic applications, necessitating careful consideration of ethical and legal implications for privacy in genomic databases....

From face to DNA: new method aims to improve match between DNA sample and face database JUNE 2019
Predicting what someone's face looks like based on a DNA sample remains a hard nut to crack for science. It is, however, getting easier to use such a sample to filter the right face from a face database,
