#piratesunday Captain K Pirate-Verse Hidden Scrolls (@dixiesilverminer entry)

Avast ye mateys! Captain D with some information here on the deck of the Silver Wing. Today I share with you a tale whispered about on the sands of time and hidden deep within in the legends of a secretive kingdom. Like all things in the pirate-verse I am sure that they will come full circle in the end. Our friend Slak-tor the Dragon Master had to take to the mainland and handle a few dragons that were causing trouble for the citizens. Don't worry though he will return with more fun at The Foundry!! Now behold the origins of the Zombie Shark.
In a land far away along the Mediterranean Sea, was a great kingdom that had a culture foreign to most pirates. Its architectural and technological marvels astounded, but its understanding of magic and the soul were even more extensive. A long line of Gods on Earth had ruled this kingdom and seen it rise to great power and riches. Among these riches was a relic that some say came to the Pharaoh directly from the Goddess Isis herself. This relic was a small piece of a much larger relic that was broken apart by another God of the old world, Zeus. Isis received the parcel via Zeus and he her nurturing nature as a mother goddess, her strong magical powers, and wisdom to keep the relic safe from the wrong hands. In her wisdom, Isis placed the protection of the piece in the capable hands of her son Horus God of the sky, war, protection, and light. Along with his father Osiris (God of the Afterlife) and Sekhmet (Protector of the Pharaohs), he was able to hide the relic deep inside an underground tomb full of mazes. Even more utilizing Osiris’ control of the dead and a piece Sekhmets’ power they created a beast that was not able to be killed by any mortal means. Seated in a corner of the kingdom and often talked about only in the shadows sit a small chamber above ground surrounded by a deep moat, where this eternal beast will forever swim. This immortal zombie shark will forever protect the relic.

Seeking the relic’s power several people have tried to gain access to the tomb. The effects of these encounters can be seen on the the exterior of this great white beast. His face partially burned away from an unsuccessful fire attack and a looters harpoons still hangs from his chest. This harpoon the only piece of the looter not lost to time or the shark’s appetite.
