Hello steemians, I send you a big hug. Today I will be sharing with you a new topic in #celestialchallenge initiated by mentor @sirknight, today's content is animalkingdom
Doves,usually white in color,are used in a lot of settings as symbols of love, peace or as messengers. Doves appear in the symbolism of Judaism,Christianity and Paganism,and of both military and pacifist groups.The dove has long been a symbol of peace in the history of mankind but the dove has great symbolism in the Bible too and is mentioned 46 times in Scripture.(Mathew 10:16)"Behold, I am sending you out like sheep in the midst of wolves; be wary and wise as serpents, and be innocent (harmless, guileless, and without falsity) as doves."When Jesus was speaking about sending out the disciples to proclaim the gospel He told them this and what it means If we are to be innocent as doves, we are to be above reproach and live lives that are pleasing to God and doing harm to no one. A dove is a very sensitive bird.
DOVES AS SYMBOLIC OF BEAUTY

In the Song of Solomon he often uses the images of doves as a symbol of beauty like in 1:15 “ How beautiful you are, my darling! Oh, how beautiful! Your eyes are [like] doves .” He also writes “ My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely ” (Song of Solomon 2:14) and “ How beautiful you are, my darling! Oh, how beautiful! Your eyes behind your veil are doves ” (Song of Solomon 4:1) and in 5:2 he writes “Open to me, my sister, my darling, my dove, my flawless one .” Even Hosea wrote concerning Israel “ Ephraim is like a dove, easily deceived and senseless— now calling to Egypt, now turning to Assyria” (Hosea 7:11) and that “ They will come from Egypt, trembling like sparrows, from Assyria, fluttering like doves. I will settle them in their homes,” declares the Lord ” (11:11).
SYMBOL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT?

A dove is often used as a symbol of the Holy Spirit, but why? Two major events in the Bible involve a dove as a sign of God's Spirit that have led to this historical connection.
First, following the Flood during Noah's time, Noah sent out a dove. The first time, the dove returned to him. On the second occasion, the dove returned with a freshly-plucked olive leaf in its mouth: "And the dove came back to him in the evening, and behold, in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth

" ( Genesis 8:11 ). The third time Noah sent out a dove, it did not return, revealing the dove had found a new home on the land of the earth. The dove became a symbol of God's peace following judgment.
Second, a dove was mentioned at the baptism of Jesus. All four Gospels include the account of the Holy Spirit descending on Jesus in bodily form like a dove ( Matthew 3:16 ; Mark 1:10 ;
Luke 3:22 ; John 1:32 ). This dove affirmed Jesus as the Messiah. Along with the voice of God the Father from the sky, this account provides a clear picture of the Triune God—Father, Son, and Spirit—all taking part in an event at the same time while mentioned as unique Persons.
In addition to these events, doves were known in the New Testament as innocent animals. For example, Matthew 10:16 records Jesus saying, "Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves." Doves were also us sacrifices at the tabernacle and temple in biblical times. Joseph and Mary likely brought a dove as a sacrifice following the birth of Jesus ( Luke 2:22-24 )
