The Key to Making Intermittent Fasting Work Better

Intermittent fasting is a great way to keep the body healthy and in shape.
Intermittent fasting consists of 2 windows. An eating window between 5 to 8 hours and a fasting window between 19 and 16 hours
The eating window should consist of 2 to 3 evenly spaced meals
The fasting window is self explanatory. Its a window where no food is consumed. But drink is permitted. Either water or flavoured water
Intermittent fasting does work on its own to regulate blood sugar, and body weight

To add an extra layer to this regime you should look at the types of food you eat within the eating window. To boost the effectiveness of the fasting you should cut out all sugars and replace these with healthy fats such as avocados and cheese. This alone will drop your insulin resistance level and help prevent or aid in the eradication of type 2 diabetes

The third and probably the most important step is sleep. You should try for 7.5 to 8 hours uninterrupted sleep. Sleep is the time when the body heals and repairs itself.
You should try to go to bed on an empty stomach to give your body maximum time to do its magic instead of trying to digest for for the first couple of hours sleep

Extra things you can do to help along the way is exercise for 30 minutes everyday or just take the stairs instead of the lift or escalator..
