MOVIE REVIEW // The Fifth Element
The Fifth Element is the story of a cab driver spontaneously becomes the center for the chase for a legendary cosmic weapon that will keep evil and Mr. Zorg at bay. She falls into his lap. And everything changes from then on. In a futuristic science fiction type world, Bruce Willis goes on a fucking adventure. This movie was released into theaters on May 9, 1997 and was directed by Luc Besson.
It stars an awesome cast that made this movie interesting and funny at the same time. It's got that perfect comedic presence the give you a good laugh here and there, with names like:
Bruce Willis
Gary Oldman
Ian Holm
Mila Jovovich
Chris Tucker
Lee Evans
& Luke Perry
This is another one of those movies that I used to watch when I was younger because my mom loved it so much. I ended up loving it just as much. This movie is awesome. They tried to make it as original as they could, from the different species of alien down to the fashion. It was definitely a very colorful movie, you definitely see things in this movie that make you go, how did they think of that? One thing I thought was funny about the movie was the fact that Mila Jovovich's character speaks an incredibly foreign language that Bruce Willis' character has never even heard before, so for the whole movie they're pretty much lost in translation. They never really know what either of them is saying to each other at all. It's kinda funny.
While the action and adventure is enough to keep you interested, it's cool to see what their idea of the future is. Flying cars in the sky, huge buildings, cruise ships that cruise through space instead of the ocean. It's crazy to see and wonder about. I give this movie a 5/5. It's definitely one of those movies I need a copy of. Give it a watch!
I give this movie a 10/10 this is one of my most favorite off all time, Bruce Willis is always a great action hero, Mila Jovavich did f-ing finaminal considering when this movie was made she was known for supermodeling. The fact that they through in Chris Tucker as the Dis Jockey for Radio Cosmos was genious cause he was the funniest guy in the movie, he played a character that is so unlike any others he has played before. Like I said 10/10 for me and I already own a copy it's VHS but IDC it's still mine!! Good review ese I re-steemed.
