I Raise my Glass to Friends

Then flowers ‘d be the friends
How well our gardens cultivate
On each gardener that depends
And some will need support
But all require love and care
Regardless of their sort
One flower at a time
Helping each establish roots
Our efforts quite sublime
In truth will touch us back

The day would not be complete without a flower. Always there must be a flower. Let it be green! This flower is dedicated to #ThursdayGreen #ColorChallenge by @Kalemandra. Suffice to say, this will color my world as I do an Irish jig, laddie.

I remember hearing that Queen song when my mom was driving me back from the dentist. Sure sparked a nostalgia moment for me, so many thanks.

I have wandered off on a tangent fir my Market Friday post that’s coming in a couple of hours but I know your used to me doing that lol 😂
Beautiful photos and thoughtful reminders on the need to nurture our good friends.
As time goes by, so gradually my old friends pale away from my radar. Sometimes we just grow apart following different orbits in this universe. Per chance some old friends got hurled back into the same orbit for a while.
Life gives us lots of fond memories of those good old friends.

Oh! You still have friends from early school days. How nice! We moved house a few times so I lost contact with my old friends at schools. But I met some new friends along the way.

I moved also, especially after school, when I left my parents' house but, I have always written letters - even to this day I will write and post it in the mail. I still love to get letters!

It just keeps getting better. Lovely photos.
Oh, we have only just begun!! I can hardly wait for the spring to catapult into my life. I am sitting on the luggage rack at the airport with the weather coming around and coming around, leaving me standing and waiting.
Or so it seems.
I have spied some snowdrops and daffodils, the early birds here and in no time at all, we will be enjoying the changing of the guard. Winter to Spring. I'm ready for it!
