Enter the Dragon!
Indi is a bearded dragon - although he may be a baby Smaug who has yet to grow his wings.
Meet our pet Indi. When our wonderful, loyal and beautiful dog died some years ago, our daughter wanted a pet. While it was too soon to welcome another dog into our lives, we decided to get Indi.
He is an Australian Pogona Henrylawsoni. My wife named him Henry, but my daughter and I went with something a little more adventurous, Indi (after Dr Indiana Jones).
He is friendly and cuddly (kind of) and loves to climb and bask in the sun. And he has the most amazing patterns on scales.
One day soon, we hope to get another dog, and for the first time in a long time, it's on the cards.
But in the meantime, and after, we are guarded well by our very own Dragon.

That is cool. My son would love to have something similar as a pet... a dragon, snake, lizzard or some type of reptile or amphibian however my wife won't be too impressed :):) Cudly, kind of :D

With me it's the other way around. For complicated reasons she doesn't want a dog, but she loves Indi 🙃
That is a cool pet to have :):) Yeah, it's hard losing a pet like a dog or a cat. They become part of the family :) With that being said it seems there is a strong bond with Indi as well so realistically it will also be difficult when it's time for Indi to pass on. I guess it's just about making the best of the time you have together.

Nice. We have two resident 'Water Dragons' that like to sunbake around our pool. They are very cool animals.

Closest I get to water dragon are the ones at GOMA (QLD Gallery of Modern Art) that hang around the cafe 😊
