finally got around to watching this from my list...and im glad i did. I have watched 4 of your posts and this is by far my favorite. the riffing while riffing was magic...i felt your goosebumps.
not to mention i resonated with many of the feeling you mentioned. i have yet to get a glorious dtube upvote...but have recieved 3 curie upvotes which hit the same kinda dopamine reward center. creates a craving vacuum. and yeah...i have felt the tinge of jealousy...i feel ive put out some good stuff on dtube without love...and im like...damn. trick with me is that it is a passing feeling...cause i have never been here for money. Steemit has opened my creative world back up...i should be paying them.....
for months i have said about steemit this thing...and i think the same can be said for dtube. dtube dont owe me or you shit. whining or wasting time winging about whats right or wrong with dtube is just missing the entire point.

How you can talk and play like that - it's wonderful. I'm not sure I could do that. I guess it means your music is coming from the soul and is in perfect synergy with your mood and conversation.
The upvote thing - I guess it's just part of human nature. Greed and fear - these are things I'm battling with spiritually, partly through a 12-step programme of AA and mindfulness and talking. I feel like sharing on the Steem platform will help me deal with these things to some extent. I try and keep the upvotes out of my mind and just enjoy being here. So far it's working.

Yeah, it’s funny / I’ve always just sat and talked while having a guitar in my hands. So it’s fun to combine speaking with playing like that.
The highs of life are hard to deal with. Some are good, and some not so good! Music addiction is amazing, right? And Steem addiction too / as long as we are creating and sharing for the right reasons. I mean, where else do artists get rewarded like this for creative content? It’s spectacular.

A good conversation to have, there is certanly that pull, trying to stay true to ones own creativity, absent of the desire for recognition and monetary gain is what will make this platform truly great and cohesive. On the flipside -as you say - well, who knows what any place will look like when addiction takes over, we see signs already.

This resonates with me just as much as you felt the vibration of your guitar against your body while you were speaking to all of us.
