MONSTER DIGEST #32

Risk Management is one topic average investors don't like to discuss. Why might this be? Probably due to them being over-invested in very risky assets. This, of course, leads us to Steem Monsters.

Everyone wants to be the home run hitter but in finance and investing it's the batter that can constantly get on base that wins the game.

I have seen more than 1 person say in Steem Monsters discord chat that they had 90% or more (one person said 100%, yikes) of their wealth wrapped up in SM. Since only cards were available at the time, this means they had all that JUST IN CARDS, not even equity, just cards ....

I am not telling you what you should or should not do with your money or investments. I am however suggesting that applying good risk management across all of your investments is a good habit to develop.

In the next installment of Monster Digest, I will go over some strategies that have been working for me to turn a profit from my investment in SM so far. Until then.
