Market Snapshot - April 8th 2018
Top 10 Cryptos
At the moment of writing top 10 assets were relatively bullish, with 6 in green and 4 in red.
In fact, the market looks rather stationary than bullish, with gains and losses very small for crypto: gains under 3% and losses under 2%, on average.
STEEM And SBD
At the moment of writing, STEEM was trading, on average, at $1.89 on Coinmarketcap, slightly up from yesterday.
On Bittrex, the 30 minutes chart shows a spike (I wrote about it yesterday), followed by a correction with an upper low.
The 1 hour chart may suggest the formation of a bullish channel, but the volume is still relatively low
The 1 day chart shows a second doji candle, with lower wicks, suggest stabilization around 29k satoshis.
SBD was trading, at the moment of writing, at $1.94 on average, slightly down from yesterday.
The 30 minutes chart on Bittrex shows a hairy, but overall flat trading. By the way, I consider flat trading to be good for SBD:
The 1 hour chart shows flat trading around 28k satoshis, 0.5k satoshis lower than yesterday .
The 1 day chart is almost similar with STEEM, only the correction is deeper:
SBD to STEEM Ratio
At the moment of writing, according to steem.supply, for 1 SBD you get 1.035 STEEM, down from yesterday.
Overall opinion: Markets seem to be stagnant today (it's Easter day in the Orthodox Church realm, so probably that part of the world doesn't trade much). STEEM is trending higher and, most importantly seems to be decoupling from SBD, which is a very healthy thing, in my opinion.

I know the feeling. That's why I created steem.supply, an easy to use and accurate tool for calculating your Steemit rewards |
I just love those big jumps in Steem price this is make it real fun coin to trade.
Everything on the market looks like a steal. I just wish I could uninvest from late December and reinvest the same amount of money now :-). One can dream right?
Really love the way you put the information in a way that even noobies can understand. Thank you. :)
Voted for witness. :)
Some cool spikes that was the best day for trading
Sbd continues to be encouraging as i predicted. I hope the steady rise continues for a while probably and hopefully till it gets to $2
The Market is just there for me. Nothing looks New at the moment . Let's just keep hopes alive though.
Happy Easter, Dragos! I kept thinking about the importance of having SBD pegged to 1$ and it is quite a must, especially when SMTs will be live and there will be a lot of Steem like tokens to be traded. Having a stable currency will be a must then, at least so I think, even though we may lose some rewards on our posts :)
Many many thanks for sharing.I like all of your posts.
Thanks for the information, very useful for me ... and I have been following you for a long time.
So steem is up and it keeps going up and down now...
