After almost a year in the making, one of the most consistent projects of crypto startup Bankera (a spinoff of Spectrocoin) is going live this month, according to a blog post published on the company website a few hours ago. The project is a crypto exchange, in which people can trade BTC, ETH, NEM and a few other pairs, with BNK (the native token of Bankera) serving as some sort of liquidity.

This launch will be more like a private beta, though, as far as I understand from the blog post, but people who have access already can send invites to other people, which will act like some sort of VIP ticket. If you're not that lucky, you can still signup and the team promises to review the waiting list often.

Bankera exchange is the first from a series of products announced after the ICO, at the beginning of this year. Once the exchange is rolling, we can also expect loans with crypto collateral, a project which will bring Bankera ambitions to become a "crypto bank" closer to reality.

As the dust settles over the crypto hysteria which brought Bitcoin at $20k and after all the scammy projects are leaving the scene one by one, we slowly start to see startups which have some value beyond the initial overinflated hype and promises. In my humble opinion, Bankera is such a project (I also wrote about CryptoWars, an Experimental project, which is also backed by an experienced and honest team).
