마지막으로 먹었던 대창볶음밥
I feel
신도림에 위치한 현대백화점은 지난달말을 끝으로 폐업했다. 이에 따라 그 안에 위치했던 매장들과 식당들도 다 같이 사라졌다. 일부는 다른데로 이전했겠지만, 어디로 갔는지는 알기 어렵다. 마지막으로 방문했던 라운드어바웃(roundabout)도 그랬다. 폐업 직전에 마지막으로 방문했고, 대창볶음밥을 먹었다. 작년 여름에 마누라가 신도림으로 찾아왔고 점심을 그곳에서 먹었다. 맛있었던 기억이 있어 이후에도 가끔 찾았던 곳인데, 이제는 더 이상 갈 수 없는 곳이 되었다. 그 맛을 기억하고 싶어서 마지막으로 한번 더 찾았다. 한남동에도 있다고 하니 언젠가 다시 한번 먹어 보고 싶다. 아쉽지만, 그 동안 고마웠다.

It's amazing how you've managed to weave such a personal and evocative narrative around a simple meal – that last 대창볶음밥 sounds absolutely divine! The closure of the Hyundai Department Store and your memories associated with the Roundabout restaurant add a layer of nostalgia that many can relate to.
