My first 100 days on steemit

Hello steemit friends, I joined steemit on the 9th of November 2017 which means today marks my 100 days of blogging on steemit. My steemit journey thus far had it's ups and down but my general experience on this platform has been an interesting one. I am very happy to be a member of the steemit community in this time of 'crypto rush' and steemit's progressive development.

This platform was introduced to me by a good friend of mine @bat-junior who encouraged me to come on board the revolution of blogging. He approached me on the July of the year 2017, at first I resent, because of the daunting experience I have had with blogging in the past. After continuous persuasion from @bat-junior I decided to opt-in, he taught me the basics on steemit for which I am grateful.

My next one month on steemit was dormant, due to the fact that I was in the remote part of Northern Nigeria where internet broadband connection is poor and also the absence of fellow steamians who were down south. This was however cut short by the December Christmas festivities which brought @bat-junior and @steve1122 up north, their coming reignited the commitment I have towards steemit. They showed me around the world of steemit and introduced me to the discord social application where I immediately join the Nigerian community and other groups.

Later in the month of December, i was going through steemit posts looking for an interactive discord group to join, where i can learn more on the ' do and don't ' on steemit. I saw the discord invite of @thesteemengine and joined the train. I was welcomed by @ethandsmith who told me what the group was all about, I later met other members @awakentolife, @apanamamama, @coldsteem, @coffeetime, @tattoodjay a lot to mention, they have given me the courage and inspiration on my steemit journey thus far. I saw this post when going through @ethandsmith's blog, this has revolutionized my way of writing and improved the quality of my post.

My journey on steemit so far have not been only as a result of my effort alone. I have the unrelenting and continuous help from people spread across the globe. And at this milestone of 100 days on this platform, I have the opportunity of being amongst individuals who not only care alone but are ready to support. I am pleased to be among such people.
