Grow Your Own: The First Automated Hydroponic Cannabis Grow Box For $2,400
Seedo is an Israeli company that has created the first automated cannabis grow box to hit the market. It is the very first fully-automated hydroponic indoor-grow box for cannabis of its kind.
The commercial unit is estimated to cost around $2,400 and it is supposed to be connected with a smartphone app which will allow you to monitor water levels, lighting, and more.
It's expected to enable users to be able to grow even more than they'd be able to grow in their own backyard, yielding more produce. You can grow more than just cannabis, you can also use it to grow flowers, herbs, or vegetable etc, whatever you want.
The design is not much bigger than a mini fridge, and because of that it's sure to appeal to some who want to get started on growing but might not want to put in the time and effort through trial and error to get it just right. It's also great for those who are cramped for space.
It's already reported that the company has sold at least 3k units, they've also brought in millions in investment. They aren't only going to offer the mini grow operations for the home user either, they've also got plans for commercial sized units too.

Whether someone has tried growing cannabis before or not, it's expected that they might have an easier time if they start out by using one of the grow machines from Seedo. That's because the growing experience has been mostly automated for them, which some might say can take a lot of the enjoyment out of the experience. For others, it's a valuable convenience they'd no doubt be eager to take advantage of.
There are several other hydroponic growing models to be found in the market already, some just as convenient in size etc, but this is reported to be the first grow box that's been specifically designed for growing cannabis and more.

The best thing about this growing box is that it's designed to be the perfect entry point for beginners who don't have much experience with growing cannabis but who are interested in getting started. Also, many who might be looking to grow their own might not have the space and this conveniently helps to fix that problem for them.

Interesting idea - every home could have one, be like standard white goods :) The other benefit is that it's discreet. Pricey, but that will reduce over time.

First, give thanks (rasta for thank you:)) for sharing! If the machine gives no smell, I would think this can be useful indeed. But I could not find that spec.
Hydroponic is definitely great for getting better yield and the lights seem pretty decent too. But $2400, and I know the company has to make money, is, in my opinion, a kinda heavy priced.
The 'recreational' user smokes about $600 a year. For medicational purposes, I think many people need to gonna buy 2 or 3 to provide them with their medicine.
If they could lower the price to let's say 1500/1700$, they could hit homerun.. But what is your personal thought?
I wonder as well, that would be a great benefit, and for people who don't have much land to grow, it's def a benefit for them with the convenience.. although I agree.. a big price tag, not very reasonable for most who prob aren't ready to spend that much! will be interesting to see what their commercial scale boxes look like!✌️

Let me put this more bluntly, How is this post relevant to Jamaica or Reggae?
Yes, some Jamaicans grow weed, but this box you speak of is Isreali and won't be popular in a country where the minimum wage is $70 per week and sunshine is free. Those growing indoors, under lights are professionals and this box is for amateurs.
