My parents are visiting this weekend, so we all decided to go for a walk down to the park since the rain had stopped. I was able to pry my boys away from the computer and we were off!

We all set off and it wasn't long before we were passing the local pizza joint and kids capoeira studio called flying turtle.

The walk was only about a mile long so not too hard on the legs. It has been really rainy and stormy lately here. The snow had all recently melted so everybody was out and about mostly walking their pups. Our crew consisted of Grandma and Grandpa, @frontowardenemy, myself and my two hooligans.

After a little complaining by my oldest son, we made it to the park.

Laurelhurst is a decent sized park in north east Portland. It is one of the few nearby parks with a pond.

I can't remember the last time I went on a family walk. It was super nice to get out and breathe some fresh air. Don't feed the ducks and be sure to let them cross.

It is always great to spend time with my parents and even though they pretend not to be enjoying it, I know the kids like seeing the Grands too.
