The Light Rains - A Happy Accident!

My cinematographer friend and I went urban exploring with his new Iscorama anamorphic lens and this happy accident happened! The long exposure and brief adjustment made the light rain around me while keeping me in relative focus. Kind of impressive actually, and beautiful.

I love exploring the dark and dangerous places of downtown Los Angeles. The numerous, hidden, post-apocalyptic gems are countless and there are stories to tell everywhere you look.

Exploring anamorphic compositions more consistently will hopefully help me think and see in widescreen for #changelingfilm. Like any art, you've got to practice, practice and then practice some more until thinking becomes a little more automatic, freeing your mind for greater nuances for both compositions and storytelling.
