Original Art Series Part 27
One of my best artworks and I wanted to share it with all of you. This is an older piece but still one of my favorites. This is oil on wood panel. For the rain drops I did it as multi layered to give it a 3rd feel and as though the rain is coming off the panel.
I wanted the figure to be almost one with the water and lose herself within it. Only once we can lose ourselves can we find ourselves once again! Hope you all enjoy this and thanks for looking.
I really like the emotion and pose in this. The rain technique was very effective and the composition is spot on - I enjoy how the visual weight at the bottom really draws us in the same direction as the rainfall.
