“Crazy” Photo Editing

Sometimes “normal” photo editing just isn’t enough. Sometimes you as a photographer have a need to do photo manipulation differently, more adventurous, punchy. Many people are afraid of that process, thinking that they will be laughed about, that they will ruin their reputation, but let me tell you something, that is the process where photojournalism stops and art begins.

People love unusual, unique photography. Maybe they don’t know how to get those results but emotionally react to eye-pleasing effects.

Today I decided to be more adventurous and do some “crazy” editing. I needed something more than a normal somehow boring photo of wheat fields and hills so I added fiery colors to it and I love it!

While looking at it another idea came to my mind; how about changing the sky and time of the day... and these two are the result of editing.

Photo editing can be really fun, your imagination starts to work and you begin to feel like a child with a paintbrush. The more you work the bigger the need to continue... “What else can I beautify?”
Uninteresting photo of a branch in your a backyard can be transformed into the possible future canvas on your wall. Tip of a garden tap becomes something intriguing.

Sometimes just adding light leak, lens flare or spotlight can change photo dramatically. So be adventurous, explore, you may surprise yourself. There are a plethora of photo manipulation tools, it doesn’t matter which one you choose and use. The only thing that is important is that you have fun!
